I had hear rumors earlier this year that they were going to pull the baskets at Bryant Lake on December 1st. The reasoning I heard was so the course won't be damaged by people playing as the ground is freezing & thawing in the spring. I understand not wanting to damage the course in the spring, but I was hoping they wouldn't pull the baskets so soon so I could get a few winter rounds in.
No such luck. I went today and sure enough the baskets were pulled and there was a blockade at the parking lot with a sign that the disc golf course is closed.
So today it was down to Staring Lake Park for my lunch round. Not as close & not as many holes, but still got my disc golf fix in.
