This is a nice quick 9 holes to play in north metro, maybe on your way to BRP? My brother played there today and said that they now have asphalt tee pads poured |

North on Highway 65, right (east) on 153rd (next to a greenhouse/nursery), 1/2 mile to Ham Lake City Park on your left.
Pull in to first parking lot on your right, 1st tee is between 1st parking lot and the 2nd lot.
I've played this about 3 times, never seen anybody else playing the course, it plays counter-clockwise around the baseball fields. |

Oh, yeah I know where that park is, my little cousin plays baseball there. Cool, I will have to check it out. Thanks for the info! |

There is another course just north of the Ham Lake City Park. Travel just a bit further north on Highway 65 to Constance, and hang a left (west). Take the 2nd right on Buchanan, and then a left into the church parking lot. There are 9 holes, clockwise just north of the church, many 150 -200 yard holes (in trees), a few slightly longer in the open. A nice and easy 9 holes to play |

these two courses are both pretty nice. i think i prefer the Ham Lake one though instead of the one by the church. its more open and not so in the woods, giving you more opportunity for some good drives. |

According to Anoka Shopper, the Ham Lake course is going to expand to 18 holes this summer! I'm not sure if work is to begin in August, or to be completed. Probably August (2010) |
