i've been discin for awhile now, and every year i try to improve on part of my game. while all of these 'skills' are essential for a good game of dg, which do you think is most important?
Also, what skill do you think is most difficult to master? |

This is kind of a trick question. If you can drive, but not approach or putt, then it's almost the same as someone who can approach, but not drive or putt.
I think the most important is accuracy and consitancy. Once you got that down, you can deal with distance. |

i could argue for any option, so i will...
driving distance is really only important if you have a long straight hole. but it's always nice to watch your disc just soar down the fairway.
accuracy probably comes into play most often. you need to be able to effectively throw a hyzer or anhyzer, keep it low to get under branches, and be able to judge distances.
if you aren't accurate with your drive, you better have a good approach shot so you can recover. this is probably the throw i've improved on the most.
putting is the most important throw, imo. if you can consistantly sink a putt from within 50 feet, your score is going to improve drastically. however, i think this is the most difficult throw to master. the disc is lighter, and it's not going as fast, so wind has more of an effect. you also need to be able to putt up hill. and judging the distance is key, you don't want to lay it up short.
lately i've noticed that stamina has an effect on my game as well. i don't know if it's because i haven't played all winter, or if i'm just a wuss. last weekend i was doing great on the first 6 holes, but then my game just went downhill.
there ya have it. |

You can think of it this way. If you can stretch your high percentage putt range from 15' to 30' then you've quadrupled the area you need to land in on your drive/upshot. As your putting gets better your accuracy doesn't need to be as good so it will appear better. |

Putting for sure. Unless you get an Ace you're gonna have to make a putt. Nothing ruins rounds more then 2-3 putting a hole. |

Putting is by far the most important. You can be average at all the other skills and score well above average if your strength is putting. |
