Not much chatter going on. Spring is here. What courses are looking fairly dry? Anything new this year? Did Bryant Lake get the new holes installed? |

Finally some warmer days, I'm gonna check out a course nearby in Andover and see how that goes. It's a 9 hole, any recommendations for a not too busy course. I'm usually throwing solo, and don't like playing thru on a real busy course. Thanks |

In the Andover area, I'd recommend Blue Ribbon DGC in East Bethel off of 65 (Central) and Klondike.
Other "neaby" courses I would recommend that don't get too much traffic are Becker, Clearwater, Stacy and the course at Bethel University. |

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll be out nice and early if the weather holds up like today. Thank goodness for the Cucking Fold weather finally dwindling away. Peace! |

Not dead, I'd say more just coming out of hibernation. Our statistics in graph form look much like a roller coaster throughtout the year. Lots of hits in the summer, and many less in the winter.
We're also getting back on redesigning the site. I had a little hiatus from it this winter to work on some other projects I wanted to do. The new look and layout will hopefully be even easier to navigate and use.
That said, I had my first round of the year yesterday. Red Oak park. Gotta play that course before it gets overgrown. Shot a +6 . Oh well, first round of the year.
Also stopped by gotta go gotta throw's new location. It's coming along nicely. They were still in the process of setting up it looked like. |

Where's the new location of GGGT?
Red Oak is always tough even before all that foliage. |

It's in Golden Valley along the Plymouth Ave exit off of 169 (first exit north of 55). It's kind of hard to see because they don't have any signs up yet. The door is on the very back corner of the north side of the building. Just look for the GGGT truck.
Address is:
1200 Mendelssohn Ave N.
Golden Valley, MN 55427 |

hate to say it, but the new holes are not up yet. I've been playin there all winter and the only thing I've seen put up are markers for the new tees. |

Beth Nash, the Public Affairs Coordinator at the Three Rivers Park District, told me last week that the expansion to 18 holes won't be ready until this fall.
It's a long time to wait, but I'm sure it will be awesome. |
